| Promoting Positive Behaviour | | This programme allows young people to explore issues relevant to them in their local community. It increases their awareness of enterprising behaviour by actively developing solutions to the key issues they identify in both their school and community and latterly globally. This programme involves community partners such as the police, youth workers, community activists and businesses etc. It helps address issues such as antisocial behaviour and develops a sense of responsibility for communities, raising awareness of economic and social cohesion. Students work closely with community partners and are encouraged to reflect on how their behaviour can positively affect their local communities. It addresses key outcomes relating to citizenship and can be run in a number of different ways to suit each circumstance, as a one day programme, or as a transitional programme with feeder schools and then a follow up in secondary schools.
